About Dovecotes

A dovecote (often spelt dove cote, or dovecot), also known as doocot, pigeon cote, columbarium or culvery is an ornamental bird house for doves, pigeons and wild birds.  Many people even use them just as garden ornaments.

History

Fens Dovecotes was first started in 1999 by our master Craftsman Colin. We began our web presence late in 2006 both with this website and on eBay. To date we have sold nearly 400 Dovecotes to people nationwide, learning more from each one. We first started by displaying our Dovecotes on the roadside near our cottage in Lincolnshire. We were very shocked with the response and we were actually taking orders by the end of the first week.

The Future

With the launch of this website we hope to sell even more Dovecotes to even more satisfied customers. Our policy is very simple, Satisfaction Guaranteed.
